PFLAG Acworth/Dallas facilitates monthly in-person and online peer support groups for the LGBTQIA+ community and their loved ones. We also host a dedicated support group specifically for parents and allies of transgender individuals. In addition, we provide periodic programs for special topics and events.
Through efforts like our lending library, we host a collection of resources and books available for chapter members to borrow. This lending library includes relevant topics like allyship, trans identities, and faith.
PFLAG strives to partner with local and National organizations to educate key decision-makers about the issues that affecting our loved ones and families. By teaching others how to use their voices, we amplify our efforts toward a more equitable world for the LGBTQ+ community.
